PD240CH and PD240CH-Z4

Our MRI handheld patient screeners: The PD240CH  and PD240CH-Z4  are the only MRI-specific tools designed to effectively screen patients for metal, then instantly determine if the metal is ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic, mitigating the risk of an RF burn occurring in the scanner. These tools can also be used to screen ancillary clinical staff for ferromagnetic objects before entering zone 3. Both the PD240CH and PD240CH-Z4 work to the same metal detection specs while the PD240CH-Z4 is MRI conditional, this adds an extra layer of safety as well as the ability for it to be used in the scanner room.

PD240CH

The PD240CH Dual Sensing Handheld Ferromagnetic Detection System is a high-performance MRI patient screening device designed for fast, accurate metal detection before imaging exams. Featuring dual sensing technology, multiple operating modes, and precise pinpointing with audio, vibration, and visual alerts, it ensures reliable identification of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

With a large scan area, customizable settings, and long-life rechargeable batteries, it improves screening efficiency, enhances patient safety, and reduces operational costs.

PD240CH-Z4

The PD240CH-Z4 Dual Sensing Handheld Ferromagnetic Detection System is a high-performance MRI patient screening device designed for fast, accurate metal detection before imaging exams. Featuring advanced dual-sensing technology, multiple operating modes, and precise pinpointing with dual-tone audio and dual-color visual alerts, it ensures reliable identification of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Its non-magnetic construction allows safe operation inside the MRI room, while the large scan area supports efficient screening workflows. Engineered to enhance patient safety, it helps mitigate the risk of projectile incidents and RF burns, while improving overall screening accuracy and efficiency.
